The stages of a healing session
Beginning - what needs attention right now?
Energising - of your system to give the best results.
Release - of blocked energy by receiving carefully chosen types of healing. May include some dialogue.
Completion - using further healing (and a little talking) to help you adjust to the changes that have happened. This integration process may continue for a while afterwards.
What will you feel during and after healing?
Depending on your sensitivity and calmness, you may feel the energy as it moves around your body.
Afterwards, it’s common to feel more balanced, open, energised, and relaxed, as well as having greater clarity about a situation you brought to the session.
How long are sessions?
Sessions last an hour or more - longer allows you to go more deeply into things, yet an hour gives great benefit.
How many sessions are needed?
Just one session initiates your body's innate healing capacity, though several are often more beneficial.
What is healing in the style of Barbara Brennan?
These healings are again very transformative, and involve the channelling of energy from our environment, to bring your mind, body and spirit into balance.
I mostly use this approach to support a process about a relationship with another significant person, or with a part of yourself, dialoguing during the healing, and bringing a safe way to say things that might otherwise be very difficult.
